Memory Care

Alzheimer’s and dementia can be challenging for everyone involved, causing you to feel a range of emotions or ask yourself questions like: What’s going to happen to my loved one’s health? But the more you know what to expect and how to prepare, the more it can make the journey feel less daunting.

You also don’t have to go through this alone. If you do feel like you need outside assistance, memory care communities are a wonderful environment ideal for people with Alzheimer’s and dementia. In fact, studies show that seniors living in memory care communities often experience a higher quality of life than when they live at home. With us, your loved one would live in an apartment-like home with safety features, surrounded by their peers and nurturing staff members.

What Is Memory Care?

Our memory care program features a person-centered approach that’s designed to help your loved one feel a sense of belonging and purpose, while still preserving their sense of self. One way we accomplish this is through a commitment to consistent care assignments of the same associates to your loved one whenever possible. Featuring a secure environment, our memory care communities have the same look and function as a private home. Seniors are able to participate in our daily path of engagement, which encourages their current skills through research-based activities. Our communities also have staff available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to be alerted to an emergency.

How Much Does It Cost?

If you and your family are considering a move to a memory care community, one of the first questions you may be asking is can we afford it? Because our residents are unique individuals, we work together with their families and healthcare providers to design a personalized care plan that meets them right where they are. This means the numbers will vary depending on your loved one’s needs.

Life at a Memory Care Community

Many people have misconceptions about what life is like at a memory care community. They think it might be a sad or lonely environment. But in reality, many of the residents who live in our memory care communities have a full and rich life. In addition to having access to quality care, they get to spend their days surrounded by kind and compassionate care team members, a community of interesting residents and fun-filled activities that help them continue to live with purpose and meaning.
