Living Spaces
Home :: Living Spaces
Plenty of closet space. Lots of natural light. Maybe a nice kitchen area where you could make tea or coffee. These are features that you’ll often find at one of our senior living apartments.
We’ve designed our apartments to be a place that feels like home — where you can relax in the mornings and unwind in the evenings. Where you can invite friends and family over to socialize or savor a solitary night in. Many of our apartments have features such as private bathrooms with walk-in showers to provide you with privacy and convenience, plus emergency alert systems to help alert staff to an emergency.
When it comes to floor plans, you have options.
In order to help you find the right home, we like to provide floor plan options at our communities. Floor plans vary from location to location and are based on availability, but they can range from studios, one-bedroom or two-bedroom options, and even spacious villas. So, if you are looking to enjoy a private space to yourself, then a studio or one-bedroom option might be the right fit. Or, perhaps you’re looking for the companionship of a roommate and are interested in a two-bedroom apartment. Each one includes ample storage and plenty of natural light, and many of our locations even give you choice features that include private bathrooms, kitchenettes and balconies or porches so you can savor both comfort and convenience.
Personalize Your Space
One of the most exciting things about moving to a new home is having the opportunity to personalize your space—and you can do just that in your new apartment.
What would make your new apartment feel more like home? Maybe you want to paint your bedroom walls to match the colors in your previous house. Or you might want to design a gallery wall with photographs of your family members. Some residents even fill their balcony and window sills with plants, herbs and flowers to celebrate their love of gardening.
However you choose to decorate your apartment, the best thing is that it’ll represent you. From rearranging the furniture to decorating your door and everything in between, you may be surprised to discover how quickly a new apartment can feel like home once you add those personal details.
Bring Fido Along, Too!
We all know that pets hold a special place in our hearts, providing comfort and companionship. But did you know they are actually good for your health too?
Studies have shown that pets provide comfort in a unique way, helping us produce more feel-good hormones and fewer stress-inducing hormones. People with animals have even shown lower levels of blood pressure, cholesterol and depression than those without a companion animal.
Because we know just how important these four-legged friends are to our residents, many of our communities are pet-friendly, and we encourage you to bring your pet along with you on this new and exciting chapter of life.
It’s good to keep in mind that each community has its own pet policy, so it’s important to get with individual locations to see what they allow. If you want to bring an animal with you when you move in, here are a few questions to ask the communities on your list:
- Do you allow residents to have pets?
- Do you have any size, weight or breed restrictions?
- Is there a standard pet policy or are they considered on a case-by-case basis?
